Frequently Asked Questions

What does cBoxBid.com do?
cBoxBid.com.com is an online marketplace where buyers of corrugated RSC packaging, displays, and more can find manufacturers that best suit their needs. We give buyers the tools to post requests for quote (RFQ) and give manufacturers a way to bid on those requests.

How do I subscribe to cBoxBid.com?
Simple! Go to the Buyers or Manufacturers page, or just click Subscribe, fill out your contact info, create your username and password and you’re in. Then just login. Buyers will see all their active RFQs and manufacturers will see all active RFQs.

How long will manufacturer subscriptions be free?
Good question. As we work the bugs out of the site and build our community, cBoxBid.com will be free. As the cBoxBid.com community grows and the site improves, we’ll begin charging a nominal fee for manufacturer subscriptions. Subscriptions for buyers will always be FREE.

Is cBoxBid.com an auction?
Another good question, to which the answer is NO. cBoxBid.com is neither an auction nor a “reverse auction”. cBoxBid.com simply links corrugated buyers with corrugated manufacturers who have the capacity and expertise to do your job right now. Our job is to connect the two who otherwise may have never been able to do business.

Who’s behind cBoxBid.com?
cBoxBid.com is the brainchild of CEO Marc Deye, a corrugated sales veteran who realized that the corrugated marketplace was outdated and needed a change. Marc sums up the idea: "Buyers were always looking for manufacturers and manufacturers were always looking for buyers, but never at the same time in the same place. With cBoxBid.com, they know where and when to find each other." Marc also saw that if buyers had a "third party" to validate manufacturer claims of price, quality, customer service, and delivery, their fear of change and the hassle of buying from new resources would be reduced.

Does cBoxBid.com make a commission on sales?
No. cBoxBid.com does not get involved in the actual sale at all – our business is simply connecting buyers and manufacturers.

How do I know if my company wins a bid?
A good sign is if you see a Buyer! button next to an RFQ that you’ve bid on. That means the buyer wants to talk to you about something related to the RFQ. This doesn’t mean you have won the job; it simply means the buyer wants to talk. If you see a closed RFQ with no Buyer! button next to it, the buyer was not interested in contacting you.

Does cBoxBid.com handle payments or collections jobs awarded from an RFQ?

No. cBoxBid.com does not play any part in the exchange of funds nor does it charge any transaction fees.

How do I know my identity will be kept secret?

Because you create a unique login and password, your information is protected from other buyers and manufacturers.

What kind of security measures has cBoxBid.com taken to protect my private information?
cBoxBid.com is hosted on secure servers that are monitored 24 hours a day to protect the site and its users.
